Brand Story

The Shallows started long before it ever became a brand.

I grew up fishing with my dad, so being on the water has always been a part of my life. Years later, when I met my husband, fishing became something we fell in love with together. Almost eight years later, it’s still where you’ll find us most weekends, and our friends and family probably wouldn’t have it any other way.

A lot of our time is spent fishing the flats and getting into some seriously shallow water. That’s where the name The Shallows came from.

But The Shallows has never been about just one type of fishing. We love it all, flats, inshore, offshore, freshwater, and everything in between.

Most importantly, we wanted our faith to be part of what we created. There’s something about being out on the water that makes you slow down and appreciate the world around you. Even when the fish aren't biting, there’s still so much to be thankful for.

The water. The wildlife. The quiet mornings. The sunsets. The people beside us.

The Shallows is simply a reflection of what we love most, fishing, faith, and being grateful for His creation.

And we're excited to share a little piece of that life with you.
